The Getty is an amazing place. If you live in socal it is work the way more than the $15 you have to pay for parking; the exhibits are free! Know that I have given the museum its fee ad on to Laci and Blake. These two where great in front of the lens. I really enjoyed getting to know them a little better. Also side note, Blake owns the Chronic taco (one of my favorite places for tacos) in La habra, so check it out a support him in his venture.

Both being race car drivers they raced to the alter; planning their wedding in only a few months. Brooke and Kenny had beautiful wedding ceremony in Brooke's parents back yard. Beth and Jon's wedding was held at Rancho Las Lomas, a captivating wedding venue located in Silverado Canyon. Surrounding the ceremony site are many exotic animals including white tigers, zebras, and parrots. The decor and floral arrangements designed by Jesi Haack were simply brilliant! The tables at the reception were adorned with tree stumps topped with white and green flowers such as anemones, queen anne's lace, and hydrangea, while the room was illuminated by sweet little twig votives. My favorite detail was the cake which sat picture perfect atop a vintage dresser with mos filled drawers. The food catered by 24 Carrots and the desserts from the sweet and saucy shop were "to die for!" It was evident by all of the little details that a lot of heart and soul went into the planning and design of this wedding and it was an honor to capture each and every one of them.

Dana Point Ritz Carlton- Audrey + Mike

I recently had the opportunity to second shoot for another photographer, Becker. Becker's work is know around the globe and he has influenced and mentored many great photographers. I have been studying Becker's work from the time I started photographing weddings about 7 years ago. I had a great time second shooting, because it gives me a chance to shoot without the stress of being the lead photographer. Also it allows me to try new angels or ways of shooting before I try it on one of my own weddings. I was able to shoot with Becker because I am a member of his social networking group, thebschool.com; it is kinda like facebook for photographers.
Audrey and Mike's wedding was at the beautiful Ritz Carlton in Dana Point. Being a wedding photographer there is nothing better to photograph a amazing couple at an amazing location with amazing details. Details Details produced and coordinated the event. The floral design was provided by the Enchanted Florist. My good friend Curtis from Living Cinema is creating their wedding film. Last but not least they had an amazing dj, Jeff from Moon Dance. Manhattan Beach Wedding Photography - Kevin + Eileen

Kevin and Eileen's event was held at their beach house with the ceremony taking place just feet away on the sand. After they were pronounced husband and wife, Kevin and Eileen invited their guests to take a seashell down to the waters edge to cast a wish into the ocean. I think everyone, including my wife and I, was very touched by this thoughtful detail. At the reception, the decor and the smell of wine and cheese was nothing more than intoxicating. While the flicker of candles and the delightful sound of jazz musicians made the event very dreamy, almost surreal. Looking at the pictures you can really get a feel for the splendor of this wedding. Congratulations,I wish you every happiness imaginable!

You could feel the love in the atmosphere. I honestly can say I thought there hora dance was going to turn into a mosh pit of excited guest. Last month I had the privilege to photograph Isabella and Marchin's wedding in Newport Beach. There Ceremony was at a tiny catholic church and the ceremony was very intimate. As a wedding photographer with a strong video background I am able to do some pretty cool stuff. There are a few professional SLR cameras that shoot HD video, as well as amazing photographs. I recently got my hands on a Canon 5D Mark II, and brought it with me to Angela and Mike's wedding. Angela and Mike where a perfect couple to experiment with. They are good looking, and had a beautiful venue. I hope everyone enjoys the montage. Also I would love to teach a work shop on how to create these montages, so I would love some feed back from professional photographers.

I have been a bit behind on blogging. In May I attended my first photography workshop, hosted by one of my long time mentors Mike Colon. Mike put on an amazing workshop; it was very inspiring. I would really enjoy speaking at conferances and teaching workshops. It is important to spread your knowlege and give back to you professional community. Hopefully in the near future I will have the chance to teach other photographers some tricks of the trade that have worked for me the past 7 years.

Last month I had the honor of photographing Nico and Charity on their wedding day. They where wed at Saint John's church near the Orange Circle, and the reception was just down the street at PJ's Abby. I could not have asked for a better day to shoot a wedding. The weather was fantastic and the lighting was great. I really enjoyed being part of Nico and Charity's day, and I am looking forward to hanging out with them in the future.

I had a blast hanging out with Kristi and Paul. I shot their engagement sessions at one of my favorite locations in Orange County, the San Juan Capistrano Mission. The mission is probably the oldest structure in Orange County and it makes for a great back drop. I loved Kristi and Paul's chemistry and sense of humor. I am definitely looking forward to their wedding this November.

Happy Mother's day to all the moms! I had a great time today with my family honoring my wife. She is all time best mom and wife! It was a day filled with memorable moments. My favorite memory of the day was when my daughter, Finlee, got a hold of a few peppers in the midst of our celebration. Finlee's willingness to eat anything and everything never ceasses to amaze me! What personality!!!! I totally took the opportunity to turn this moment into a little photo session. I hope you get a little laugh out of this!

Jeremy and Lauren are now Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Their special day was not filled with shoot outs, or fight scenes, however the air was filled with tears of joy, laughter, and love. I genuinely enjoyed documenting Brooke and Grant's wedding day. Not only do they look like models, they are a really down to earth and carefree couple. It was a perfect day with a perfect couple! I recently had the opportunity to shoot two models at a location I have been eyeing for quite some time. A fire devastated this area back in November and left the trees charred. I thought the black twisted trees were a great contrast with the thriving yellow flowers and couldn't help but imagine this scenery as a backdrop for a shoot. I absolutely love the results!

Last weekend I drove down to Old Town Pasadena to shoot Kristen and Dustin engagement shoot. We had a great time walking through the busy streets and back allies of Pasadena. I have photographed a few engagement sessions in Old Town, but every time a shoot there I find new back drops and creative architecture to put in my cameras frame. We finish the shoot at the Pasadena City Hall, and the light was perfect. It was my first time at the city hall but it will not be my last.
